I started watching the Mushoku Tensei anime out of frustration because I was tired of life and wanted an escape from it. I was done with things, so I was scrolling through YouTube and came across this anime. I started watching its first episode, which immediately grabbed my attention.

At the start, I found it to be a simple story about a magician, but the twist was that the kid, Rudeus Greyrat, was born with the ability to remember his past life. The person he was in his previous life is still in his head, and he behaves accordingly.

I slowly started getting immersed in the storyline, which is quite exciting. It also triggered a part of me to reflect on how the anime incorporates adult content. Unlike Naruto, where the main character often talks about morals and his friends, Mushoku Tensei doesn’t focus on pure morals.

Instead, Rudeus Greyrat shows maturity as he navigates the path of life, learning how tough it can be. He sees how people with rigid morals often suffer, and those who are inflexible fail to achieve their goals.

Rudeus caught my attention during the lightning event when everything in the world gets displaced, and he begins searching for Eris Boreas Greyrat’s family. Finding himself on the Demon Continent, the story becomes thrilling from there. In the beginning, it’s a softer story with some mature scenes.

Let me know if you’d like me to dive deeper into Mushoku Tensei’s themes, Rudeus’s character arc, or the Demon Continent arc without spoilers, or if you want to discuss how it compares to Naruto!

Overall, I find it a great story that you can binge-watch, which I’ve done myself. Lol.

You might be wondering how I created the image for this post, as the person you see in the image is me watching Mushoku Tensei.
